Ada's Lake District Cottage is snugly nestled in the centre of the owners 24 acre farm in the South West Lake District just 1000 metres from the quiet picturesque village of Kirkby-in-Furness. Originally built around 1640, in 2008, maintaining many original features we converted the Hayloft/Barn and milk parlour into a spacious holiday cottage which is attached to the original farmhouse.

Details: The large living room (23' x 17') covers the first floor and is accessed by a chunky pine staircase. The original Crook Truss is the main feature of this room; however you cannot overlook the beautiful oak beamed ceiling. This room includes all the mod cons i.e. TV, Video, DVD etc. The Large kitchen dining area (22' x 9') fitted with oak units. It is fully equipped with a Washer/Dryer, Fridge/Freezer, Gas Hob, Electric Oven, Dish Washer, Microwave, toaster and Kettle. A complete range of crockery and cutlery is provided. After eating dinner at the large pine table someone will have the privilege of standing at the sink admiring the spectacular view directly in front of them.
