Alison's View is a delightful, modern terraced cottage which offers accommodation for 2-4 people over three floors. Ideally situated in a small lane only a two minute stroll from Keswick town centre. The property provides a perfect base for those wishing to fell walk, tour or just relax and enjoy the beautiful Lake District.
Keswick is only 18 miles away from the M6, but a world away from the ever increasing pace of the rat race. Here you can relax and enjoy the contrasting attractions of a lively holiday town and magnificent surrounding landscape. The town itself, on the Northern shores of Derwentwater, has many attractions - museums and galleries, fascinating shops for browsing and buying, and restaurants and cafes offering everything from chips to cordon bleu! Step back in time and watch a film at the cinema or take in a show at the modern Theatre, which is in a beautiful setting down on Derwentwater's shoreline.
This spacious cottage offers a large secure private garage with lots of additional storage space for walking gear, bikes, pushchairs or simply drying your washing! On the first floor the 22ft open plan living space accommodates a lounge, dining and kitchen area. There are lovely fell views towards Latrigg and Skiddaw from the kitchen window. On the second floor there is a master double, one large twin bedroom (plus a single z-bed for occasional guest) and a family bathroom with bath and overhead shower.

Full details of Alison's View: On entering the Cottage the front door leads to entrance lobby with access to the large garage providing secure parking for one car plus ample storage for bikes, pushchairs etc. It also has a utility area with sink and additional storage space. The back door leads to a paved patio area with garden furniture.
Stairs from the entrance lobby lead to the first floor landing. From the landing a door leads to the open plan living area. There is a good sized, comfortable lounge with two settees, colour teletext TV, video, pine furniture and various pictures of Lakeland fells. A selection of tourist information, Lake District magazines and walking books are in the living room cupboard. Alongside the lounge is the spacious and well equipped kitchen and dining area. The fully fitted pine kitchen has all modern facilities as you would expect from your kitchen at home, so whether you eat out every night or stay in and play Gordon Ramsay, we are sure you will find everything you need. There is an electric oven with gas hob, microwave, large fridge freezer, washer dryer and plenty of storage space. The dining area has a pine table and chairs.
The landing area has a large built in storage cupboard.
The second floor has two bedrooms, one double and one large twin bedroom. Both bedrooms have pine beds with comfortable mattresses, bed linen, bedside cabinets, wall lights, clock radios and built in wardrobes with ample hanging room and shelf space. There is an additional z-bed provided in the twin bedroom for the occasional guest. The fully fitted bathroom has a power shower over bath, wash basin and toilet. A large heated airing cupboard is also available for storage and drying.
