The Duncan family looks forward to welcoming you to their guest house which is exclusively for non-smokers and open all year round.

Ideally situated just 5 minutes walk to Bowness village, where you will find numerous restaurants, pubs, local shops, and other amenities. Lake Windermere, the pier and local attractions are just 7 minutes’ walk from our front door.

Enjoy a relaxing short break or a longer holiday in our friendly guest house with spectacular Lake Windermere views, unbeatable peace and tranquility. Take a moment to look out for wild deer which sometimes visit. The world famous Dales Way is only a minute’s stroll from our front door along with 3 amazing viewpoints. Biskey Howe is 10 minutes walk from our house. Post Knott, which has 360-degree views, is 20 minutes walk. Brantfell is just a little further.

Accommodation: We have 11 individually appointed bedrooms including Singles, doubles, twins and family bedrooms: each with en-suite showers / private bathrooms. Colour television, tea & coffee making facilities, central heating and use of a hair dryer. There is also ample private off-street parking.
