Set all on one ground floor level, Borrowdale is a detached Scandinavian chalet in the small Lake District quaint village of Garnett Bridge near to Kendal, and can sleep four people in two bedrooms.
Accommodation: It is all ground floor and sleeps four people in one double bedroom and one twin plus a family bathroom. It also contains a living area with fitted kitchen, dining area and a sitting area. Outside is off road parking for two cars and a large garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Set next to a river with fishing, Borrowdale is a lovely holiday home in a beautiful area.
Electric storage heaters throughout with additional heating from electric fire in sitting room. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, washing machine, tumble dryer and payphone in shared utility, TV with Freeview. Electricity charged by coin meter. Bed linen inc. in rent. Off road parking for 1 car. Large garden area with furniture and BBQ. Two well behaved dogs welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 3.5 miles. Note: There are three external steps to the front door of this property.
Location: Kendal is known as the Southern Gateway to the Lakes. Kendal is ideally placed for exploring South Lakeland, the Yorkshire Dales and beyond. With other attractions such as Kendal Museum and the Museum of Lakeland Life, Lake Windermere and the National Park within easy reach, Kendal provides a superb base for a relaxing break.
