Cosy accommodation for up to 7 people situated in the Wasdale valley on the quieter side of the Lake District, and part of a traditional working Lakeland farm. Overlooking Wastwater Lake and the surrounding fells.
There are hundreds of walks right from the door of the holiday cottage. Boasting England's deepest lake (Wastwater), highest mountain (Scafell) and smallest church (St Olaf's) Wasdale is a valley of extremes. There are plenty of places to eat with 3 pubs in the valley as well as a convenience shop selling food, furit & veg, alcohol and newspapers in the nearby village of Gosforth.
Accommodation: Downstairs the hallway leads to the, sitting room, kitchen and bathroom. The kitchen is fully equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave and plenty of storage space. There is a washing machine and tumble drier at the farmhouse next door which you are welcome to use.
The living room has 3 sofas and the multi-fuel stove makes the room nice and cosy. A television and video/DVD player is provided for use of videos & DVDs only (please note there is no TV reception at Bowderdale Farm Cottage).
Upstairs there are 3 bedrooms; 1 double, 1 twin & 1 triple bedroom. Outside there is the use of a garden which overlooks Wastwater Lake. There is enough space to park two cars and one pet is welcome at the cottage.
