Details for Bridgelands Cottage

The newly refurbished & decorated light and airy double bedroom is located on the 3rd floor with a galleried entrance, oak beams, plenty of storage space, and a wonderful brand new, luxurious leather, king-size sleigh bed. Luxury Egyptian cotton bed linen and soft fluffy white towels provided free of charge.

A brand new, full size travel cot and high chair are also provided, free of charge.

Full (mains) gas central heating is at your control for whenever you want to use it and there is a combi-boiler for instant hot water. Heating, gas, and electric are all included in the price.

Bridgelands Cottage has a lovely south facing, private & secluded, enclosed garden with BBQ and garden furniture.

The cottage is provided with plenty of local information, books, folders and leaflets containing lots of walks and our own recommendations of some of our personal favourite walks and places to visit.

Local Area
Cark-in-Cartmel is located in the beautiful Cartmel valley with its lush green fields, quiet leafy lanes, and gentle rolling hills. The cobbled streets and 12th century priory village of Cartmel lies just 1½ miles to the north and Lake Windermere is a 10 minute drive. There are 2 good country pubs within 2 minute's walk of the cottage, both of which serve good food and welcome families, walkers and are dog friendly too.

Pet Friendly
Dog owners are welcome to bring along their dog(s) with them by prior arrangement and for a small charge. Non pet owners can rest assured that we spend this extra money on additional cleaning so that non pet owners would have no idea a dog has stayed at the cottage.

This is a great area for walkers and dog owners with walks from the doorstep and there are plenty of fields, footpaths, woods and beaches all open to the public to ensure that your dog can run around off the lead.
