Caravans are situated 1 mile NW of Caldbeck village, on a traditional Lake District hill farm in an Environmentally Sensitive Area [ESA] within the Lake District National Park. The caravan park is bordered by dry stone walls & has lovely rural views over Caldbeck village, High Pike & Carrock Fells [Back of Skiddaw].
Caravan Details: Coniston & Derwent caravans each have 2 bedrooms [double & twin/sleeping 4] with Gas central heating [radiators] & double glazing throughout. Buttermere caravan has 3 bedrooms [double & 2 small twins/sleeping up to 6]. Each caravan has a Shower room with WC, well equipped kitchen with gas cooker, Fridge & Microwave, gas fire in lounge, colour TV [freeview] & radio. Caravans are 35 feet long x 12 feet wide, clean, comfortable & well equipped. Parking, Gas & electricity included in the price, [as per my terms and conditions]. Short breaks: from £160.00 - Weeks: £320.00 - £360.00
Caldbeck Village [1 mile] - picturesque Lakeland village with a Norman church, shop/PO/off-licence, several craft & gift shops, tea rooms, restaurant & inn [offering a fine range of Jennings real ales]. Cricket, Bowls & Tennis are also available in the village. The neighbouring village of Hesket Newmarket, 1.5 miles south east of Caldbeck, has a fine, wide main street with many 18th century houses & a central Market Cross on the well kept village green. The village also boasts a chapel, village Shop/PO/ tea rooms & well known traditional pub (The Old Crown), famous for the unique real ales from the Hesket Newmarket Brewery.
Local area - steeped in historical & industrial heritage is well located for easy access to the main Lake District town of Keswick on Derwentwater, the market towns...
