Situated on the edge of the hamlet of Knarsdale, 6 miles from Alston, this cottage has been converted to a high standard to provide bright, airy and open plan accommodation. A few steps from the local hostelry which also serves lunch and evening meals. Ideally placed for exploring Tynedale and the North Pennines by foot, bicycle or car.

The Eden Valley, Lake District and Hadrian's Wall are all within easy reach as are Hexham, Carlisle and Barnard Castle. Alston, with its fascinating old buildings and cobbled main street is also worthy of a visit. The South Tynedale Railway runs towards the Northumbrian Border. It is the highest narrow-gauge steam train in England.
