Overlooking the parish church in the popular market town of Cockermouth is this delightful cottage – a quaint, terraced property. This charming and cosy property and ideal for a romantic break.
With many original features such as exposed beams, the cottage has a very welcoming feel, which is added to by the inclusion of a four poster bed and multi-fuel stove. The snug sitting room doubles as a dining area whilst the fitted kitchen boasts a pantry. The town centre is only a short walk away and is composed of a variety of Georgian buildings and a newly refurbished market place. There is also an abundance of traditional, old pubs and excellent eating places.
Accommodation: One double bedroom with four poster bed. Bathroom with bath with shower over, basin and WC. Small kitchen and pantry. Snug sitting room with dining area and multi-fuel stove.
Storage heaters throughout with additional heating from multi-fuel stove in sitting/dining area. Electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, combi TV/video, DVD player, radio, stereo/CD player, library of books/games. Power and initial supply of logs and coal for multi-fuel stove inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Roadside parking, plus additional car park within 30 yds. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shops 2 mins walk, pub 1 min walk. Note: Due to steep stairs, this property is unsuitable for the infirm.
