A Super Deluxe, 2 bedroomed Pet Friendly holiday lodge at the side of Lake Windermere - with good Leisure Facilities. Open 1st March to 14th January each year (closed just 6 weeks)
White Cross Bay Windermere, Coniston 1 is a privately owned Super Deluxe lodge, new in 2010, providing accomodation for up to 4 people and is Pet friendly (up to 2 dogs). The lodge is on a David Bellamy Gold Award 60 acre, 4 star, woodland Holiday Park and is situate close to shop/amenities whilst only a short walk away from the Marina.
The holiday park is situated in the heart of the Lake District, midway between Ambleside and Bowness, directly on the pebbled shores of Lake Windermere. A stream runs through the park encouraging ducks and other wildlife.
Free onsite Leisure facilities, which includes the swimming pool & fitness gym, is included in the price. Also there is a restaurant, fast food takeaway, both serving food all day and a lounge bar where live entertainment is available most weekends in peak season. By the Reception there is a small shop/off-licence.
Accommodation: The lodge has a large open plan lounge, dinning and kitchen area, a double bedroom with en-suite shower, a twin bedroom and a family bathroom.
The comfortable lounge/dining area, which is light and airy has seating for 4 adults, a 32" combo TV/DVD with access to freeview, CD/Radio hi-fi system with Ipod docking facility. Double patio doors lead on to the decking area. A selection of games and DVD's are stored in the sideboard.
