Cottontail Cottage is an environmentally friendly property in one of Lakeland's most traditional villages. Our aim is to provide a comfortable and relaxing holiday home with all the benefits of a modern home built into an 18th century cottage, so enjoy your holiday whilst reducing your carbon footprint!

Staveley has everything to offer to first or returning Lake District Visitor. The nearby Kentmere Valley offers some staggering scenery and great walking and cycling and the village itself is home to many a good pub and the increasingly popular Mill Yard where you will find a bakery, a wood turner, wheelbase mountain bike centre and a supplier of organic wines from across the continent.

The village also has a bus and train station for those choosing to leave the car at home, Windermere being the main platform from the south and just 5 minutes from Staveley.

Accommodation: On the ground floor there is a kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and washing machine. A Lounge/Dining Room: with flat-screen TV and DVD player, outside there tumble dryer located in outhouse, and a seated area.

Upstairs the accommodation can sleep upto six in two double beds and two single beds. There is a bathroom with over-bath shower, hand basin and toilet. Dogs are welcome at Cottontail Cottage by prior arrangement.
