Cottontail Cottage is a property in one of Lakeland's most traditional villages. Our aim is to provide a comfortable warm and relaxing holiday destination. It has all the benefits of a modern home built into an 17th century cottage, so enjoy your holiday in a most picture postcard village.

Staveley has everything to offer to first or returning Lake District Visitor. The nearby Kentmere Valley offers some staggering scenery and great walking and cycling and the village itself is home to many a good pub and the increasingly popular Mill Yard where you will find a bakery, a wood turner, wheelbase mountain bike centre and its very own brewer Hawkshead brewery with its own bar for the connoisseur.

It also has the famous Wilfs cafe. The village also has a bus and train station for those choosing to leave the car at home, Windermere being the main platform from the south and just 5 minutes from Staveley.

Accommodation: On the ground floor there is a kitchen with electric oven, hob, fridge and freezer, dishwasher, microwave and wash/dryer Dining/lounge Room: with flat-screen TV and DVD player, outside has a seating area. Upstairs the accommodation can sleep up to six in two double french beds and two single beds in a twin room.

There is a bathroom with over-bath shower, hand basin and toilet. pets are welcome at Cottontail Cottage but we do charge a small fee of £10 per booking.
