Coming from Kendal: After turning off the A591 follow Kendal Road over the railway crossing and into the village. Take the right-hand turning onto Silver Street (the turning after Back Lane). School Lane is the first turning on the left, Cottontail Cottage is 25 yards up on the right. Off-street parking is in front of the cottage.
Coming from Windermere: turn left off the A591 onto Windermere Road. Take the turning on the left Brow Lane. Take the next turning on the right, School Lane. Cottontail Cottage is near the end of the lane on the left.
