Eden Cottage is a traditional lake-land style terraced cottage in the Cumbrian town of Appleby-in-Westmorland, and offers self-catering sleeping accommodation for up to six people in three bedrooms, with excellent views.
Accommodation: The cottage has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and one bunk bedroom which with the addition of a family bathroom, makes it suitable for six people. The cottage also contains a fitted kitchen with a dining area and a sitting room with a woodburning stove. Outside the cottage is a large garden with a summer house, outdoor furniture and a BBQ. With river views and its proximity to fabulous countryside, Eden Cottage is a lovely cottage in a superb area.
Full gas central heating with additional heating from woodburner in sitting room. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, TV with Freeview HD, DVD, iPod dock, library of books and DVDs. Fuel, power and starter pack of fuel for woodburner inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Travel cot, highchair and stairgate. Ample roadside parking. Large, enclosed garden with summer house, furniture and BBQ. Fishing on the River Eden, directly accessed from garden. One well behaved dog welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop and pub 2 mins walk. Note: Cottage garden is enclosed, and gated from the river, but please ensure children are supervised when by the river. Note: Guests must have a rod licence to fish on the river.
Location: The town of Appleby is in the Eden Valley in Westmorland. Appleby is a stop on the Settle-to-Carlisle Railway with many old steam trains.
