Situated in a wonderful rural setting at Greenrigg Farm, this cottage is a spacious, well equipped and comfortable property just two miles from the small market town of Wigton. A traditional and comfortable property, ideally based for large groups looking to explore this picturesque area of Cumbria.
This lovely farm is set within the area between the Solway Coast and the Caldbeck Fells as well as being close to the Lake District National Park. Adjoining the owner’s farmhouse, this charming stone property has been fully modernised whilst still retaining much of the original character. The cottage boasts an AGA range cooker in the spacious kitchen, as well as a pretty fireplace in the living room.
Accommodation: Three bedrooms: 1 x family with double and adult size bunk beds, 1 x double, 1 x twin. Modern three piece bathroom with shower over bath. Additional shower room. Spacious well equipped farmhouse kitchen with dining area. Sitting room with open fire. Utility room with extra WC.
Heating from night storage heaters and additional heating from oil-fired Aga and open fire in sitting room. Aga cooker, electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, colour TV, video etc. Use of washing machine and tumble dryer by arrangement. All fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot and highchair on request. Sunny garden with garden furniture. Ample parking. Well behaved pets welcome. Grazing and stabling available for horses. Non smokers preferred. Shop and pub 2 miles.
