Groom's Quarters is a cottage on a development of holiday homes near to the village of Cartmel in the Southern Lake District, and can sleep two people. An ideal romantic retreat in a wonderful location.
Accommodation: The cottage sleeps two people and has one double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom and an open plan living area with a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting area with a gas fire. Outside the cottage is off road parking for two cars and shared use of the owners grounds. With its neighbouring cottages, Grooms Quarters can sleep six people in the stunning Lake District countryside.
Electric storage heaters throughout with additional heating from gas fire in sitting area. Electric oven and hob, microwave, fridge, shared use of laundry in external utility, TV with Freeview, DVD, CD/radio, WiFi, selection of books, games and DVDs. Fuel and power inc. in rent. Bed linen and towels inc. in rent. Cot, highchair and stairgate by request. Off road parking for 2 cars. Shared use of gardens with furniture. Two well behaved pets welcome. Shop and pub 1 mile. Note: This cottage will offer short breaks (at 75% of the weekly rate for 3 nights) bookable at any time of the year, starting on a Friday or a Monday only. Note: From 1st to 8th June 2012 and 24th to 31st August 2012 there will be extra charge due to Cartmel Races.
Location: The village of Cartmel is renowned as the prettiest village in the Lake District. The village features walks, cobbled streets with antique shops, a gift shop, traditional pubs and the Michelin Star awarded L'Enclume restaurant.
