Details: A collection of 4 self catering cottages standing in spacious grounds, these high quality barn conversions near Ullswater offer breath taking views, spacious accommodation and are furnished to a high standard.

The approach to this delightful little development is by a private graveled country lane few would find by chance. A secluded 17th Century former farmstead, tucked into the very slopes of the Ullswater fells, close to High Street mountain range.

Individually designed and colour co-ordinated, the cottages beckon you in. Surrounded by open countryside, shared with visiting red squirrels, these high quality conversions are a delight.

Characterised by a warm and pleasing ambience they offer an exceptional range of modern facilities in delightful open plan living areas, with panoramic views over beautiful countryside towards the distant Pennine hills.

There is more to tempt you. A Roman nearby road and standing stones will interest antiquarians; naturalists will enthuse over the wealth of wildlife. Just a short stroll takes you to a spectacular viewpoint over Ullswater, a scene uniquely Lakeland. A walkers paradise.

Accommodation: All the cottages have access to a shared utility room with washing machine, tumble dryer & payphone. Electric & fuel is included in the price and the cottages have oil fired central heating. Bed linen is provided; towels can be arranged for a small extra charge. For entertainment guests will also find colour TVs, DVD players & CD players in each of the cottages. Pets can be brought by prior arrangement. Outside there is a large lawned open garden area with tables & benches, ample safe car parking and many doorstep walks as well as great country pubs within 2 miles.

Little Winder - Sleeps 2 in 1 bedroom - ETC 4 STAR
Sleeping up to 2 people in 1 king sized double en-suite bedroom, this delightful cottage is perfect for that cosy getaway. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer & traditional style gas cast iron stove, plus access to open garden area with garden furniture.

Winder Ghyll - Sleeps 4 in 2 bedrooms - ETC 4 STAR
Sleeping up to 4 people in 1 king sized double & 1 twin bedroom with separate bathroom (bath & overhead shower) + further separate WC. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer & traditional style gas cast iron stove. Plus access to open garden area with garden furniture. Cot and highchair on request.

Winder Green - Sleeps 8 in 4 bedrooms – ETC 4 Star
Sleeping up to 8 people in 2 large double bedrooms including en-suite shower rooms & WCs, 1 twin bedroom & 1 bunk bed. There is also a separate Bathroom with WC. The kitchen area has an electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer & traditional style gas cast iron stove. Plus access to open garden area with garden furniture. Cot and highchair on request.

Winder Barn - Sleeps 6 in 3 bedrooms - ETC 5 Star expected
Sleeping up to 6 people in 2 king size double bedrooms with en-suite shower/WC & 1 twin bedroom. There is also a separate Bathroom with WC.
