Details for Hobcarton Cottage
Hobcarton is situated in a fantastic location, overlooking the river Cocker and the pretty Low Lorton sandstone bridge. The cottage has beautiful garden which catches the sun through the day and has wonderful views down the valley to Grasmoor.
There is a village shop in Lorton but for large shops Cockermouth is under 10 minutes drive away and has a Sainsbury's. The local pub is 500m away and serves excellent food and ales.
The cottage is a wonderful gateway for all the Lake District has to offer, see the 'things to do' tab above for some ideas.
Accommodation: Hobcarton is situated all on one level and compamises of three bedrooms and one bathroom plus separte W/C.
The sitting room has a lovely open fire and views over the River Cocker.
The kitchen is open plan through to a dining room with seating for 6 and faces over the fantastic garden. The kitchen itself is fully equiped with fridge (with small freezer area), elecric oven and hob, dishwasher, microwave and plenty of storage space. Off the dining area is a utility room with washing machine and separate W/C.
There is plenty of parking to the side of the property (upto 3 cars).
