Details: The Horse & Farrier enjoys an idyllic location in the centre of the picturesque village of Threlkeld, just 4 miles east of Keswick. Built in 1688 the Mellow Lakeland stone, traditional architecture and such a peaceful setting make the Horse & Farrier a perfect place to enjoy a quiet pint, delicious food or a short break "away from it all".

Bed & Breakfast Rooms: There are 9 well appointed bed & breakfast guest rooms, all with excellent views, en-suite with either a bath and/or shower. Colour TV with Satellite Free View and tea & coffee making facilities are also standard.

The Horse & Farrier Cottage: For those wanting a little more space, comfort & privacy The Horse & Farrier Cottage is located right beside the inn and comprises: 2 double bedrooms upstairs, with large built-in wardrobes. Lounge with super comfy sofas, fireplace, bookshelves and colour 21' TV with Sky TV. Downstairs bathroom with electric shower & fully fitted kitchen with cooker, hob and washer drier. Full English Breakfast is served in the inn every morning. Well behaved dogs are always welcome for a small additional charge.
