This luxury, 6 berth caravan double glazed and fully centrally heated and in tip-top condition, situated in a small quiet caravan site on Wainright’s famous Coast to Coast long distance route, with a small fishing lake just a 15 minute walk from the front door.
New for this season we have added a ramp to the decking! The beautiful Buttermere and Ennerdale Lakes, and the historic town of Cockermouth, the home of the famous English poet 'Wordsworth' are just a short drive away. The Cumbrian coast and the Irish Sea is just 7 miles away, and makes an excellent place for a day out.
Accommodation The main bedroom consists of one King sized bed complete with, duvet, pillows and bed linen, a walk in wardrobe and T V and Video. The second bedroom has twin beds c/w duvet, pillows and bed linen, bedside cabinet and wardrobe.
The lounge has seating for six persons and sleeping for a further two people, (quilt and pillows and bed linen supplied on request). Sky TV (set for the free channels only), video player, games, videos and books.
The kitchen is fully equipped to suit six people with a fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster, steamer, slow cooker, gas oven, iron/ironing board, cylinder...
vacuum cleaner. Outside there is an enclosed decking area with garden furniture, ideal for small dogs or children, plus a small lawn and seating area.
Parking for one car is available adjacent to the caravan. There is also a laundry room and shop on site, and obedient pets are welcome under strict control.
Inglenook Caravan Park is pleasantly situated on the fringe of the beautiful Lake District National Park in the picturesque village of Lamplugh, approximately 7 miles south of the historic market town of Cockermouth, and in the centre of the Western Lakes area of Ennerdale, Loweswater, Crummock and Buttermere. The Park is attractively maintained, is an AA Recommended Site and a Camping & Caravan Club Listed Site and has an AA Award for Excellence – “Attractive Environment”.
Inglenook is an ideal base for touring, walking, climbing, fishing, pony trekking, and exploring Cumbria’s Western Lakes and Coast. Nearby are golf courses, swimming/leisure pools and the sandy beaches (10 miles) all of which provide for excellent days out for the whole family.
Things to do and see Fly fishing is available at Cogra Moss Tarn (stocked with Rainbow trout). Permits available from the Park Office. For cycling enthusiasts there is the C2C Cycle route. The Valley of the Trains: Ravenglass & Eskdale Railway, Muncaster Water Mill, The Railway Museum, Muncaster Castle, Gardens and Owl Centre. The Georgian port of Whitehaven with it’s harbour, The Beacon and The Rum Story visitor centres are all close by, and don’t miss the experience of visiting Wordsworth House at Cockermouth a treat not to be missed.
