Accommodation: The spacious accommodation comprises an open-plan living room, dining area & fully fitted kitchen, with high vaulted ceiling & real oak floor. The living room has a flat screen tv with dvd player, music centre and enjoys fantastic views over the village of Windermere & the surrounding fells, French doors open from the living room onto a private garden & elevated deck. The garden is part-bordered by an area of woodland, a BBQ is provided, perfect for eating al-fresco overlooking the Lakeland Fells! The spacious double bedroom has an en suite bathroom with underfloor heating. Jays Nest is entirely private from the attached owners accommodation and has the benefit of private parking off a private drive. The apartment is reached by a flight of stone steps from the parking area. All bed linen and towels are included and a cot for your baby can be provided on request. Local Area: There are many great walks from the front door and for more serious walkers just a short drive away are some of the Lakelands highest peaks. Windermere, Bowness & the surrounding area are abound with pubs, restaurants & cafes, all just a short walk away. The owners have tried them all & are happy to advise on the best! A variety of watersports are also close at hand - sailing, windsurfing, canoeing, wakeboarding, swimming, rowing boats, can all be enjoyed on Windermere at several watersports & activity centres. Windermere Golf Club is just a five minute drive from Jays Nest.
