A wonderful Lakeland cottage in a beautiful location great for getting away from it all while having both Keswick and Grasmere within easy reach.
This charming, characterful cottage for two persons is set in an idyllic location amongst the fells and farmland of Naddle. Meadow View cottage is only a 10 minute drive from the market town of Keswick and the historic picturesque village of Grasmere, with it's Wordsworth connections and lovely Lake is also within fifteen minutes drive. The cottage is ideal as a cosy, quiet get-away, having a wood burner for those colder days and a sitting out area looking across the valley for morning coffee or glass of wine on a tranquil summer's evening.
The Area....
A short walk away is the historic church of St John's in The Vale, the setting for one of Sir Walter Scott mythic tales. The small lanes around the area also provide a lovely location for cycling as well as walking.
The cottage is only 10 minutes drive from all the facilities of the bustling market town ofKeswick, with its unsurpassed range of outdoor shops and many pubs, restaurants and cafés. By day, Keswick is the ideal starting point for walkers and climbers, as well as those who want to potter around the shops or take a ride on the launch on Derwentwater. By night there is a cinema and the famous Theatre by the Lake, which puts on plays, shows and concerts all year round.
