Details for Overwater Hall Country House Hotel

Set in eighteen acres of gardens and woodland, Overwater Hall is an elegant, Grade 2 listed Georgian mansion. The Hall has been designated as a building of Architectural and Historic interest.

Accommodation: We have recently finished refurbishing the hall giving us eleven comfortable and individually furnished bedrooms, all with sumptuous bathrooms boasting large double-ended baths and separate shower units. You will find a vase of fresh flowers, fruit bowl, mineral water, fluffy white bath robe, and lovely Gilchrist & Soames toiletries in all of our rooms.

All of rooms have the usual modern amenities, including a hot drinks tray, fresh milk daily, hairdryer, direct dial telephone, colour TV, iron and ironing board, and a comfortable sitting area with easy chairs. The hotel is centrally-heated throughout, and we have a log fire in the Drawing Room for those long winter nights.

Our luxurious bedrooms are priced according to size, view and facilities. The Garden Room, being the only room with a spa/whirlpool bath and direct access to the garden, is the most expensive. Rooms One, Seven and Ten are the least expensive, being smaller rooms, with views of our gardens, rather than of the fells.
