The cottages are located at Low Bentham, Nr Ingleton in Three Peaks walking country on the fringe of the truly stunning Yorkshire Dales National Park, and within easy reach of the market town of Kirkby Lonsdale, the Lake District National Park and the Forest of Bowland. The local area has excellent walking, cycling and caving opportunities including the famous Ingleton Waterfalls walk. The hosts will be more than pleased to share their extensive local knowledge of these activities. There are three pubs and a general store all within walking distance of the cottages in the 2 adjacent villages; and outdoor shops and cafes/pubs in the close-by village of Ingleton. Pottery courses can be arranged during your stay, and guests are quite welcome to simply watch the potters at work. Cycling and walking weeks/weekends can be organised for groups in the Spring and Autumn months. The Cottages The cottages are stone-built, converted barn cottages, with exposed oak beams and sharing panoramic views of the local countryside. All these cottages have the following: • Patio with garden furniture • Electricity included • Double glazing, colour TV, radio • The beds will be made up with duvets and full linen, (just bring your own towels) • Ample parking • Pets by arrangement. • Full cooking facilities, fridge/freezer, microwave oven • Night storage heaters • Fan/convector heaters and/or electric fire. • Babysitting service by arrangement • Fully equipped separate laundry room with 2 automatic washing machines, 2 tumble dryers and ironing facilities. There is ample parking, a barbeque area/BBQ, a picnic area, and a baby sitting service. Well behaved pets are accepted by arrangement.
