Details for Stockdale Farm Cottage

Stockdale Farm is a Grade II listed barn conversion situated in the coastal village of Flookburgh. The cottage has been restored to a high standard, including exposed beams to maintain its full character, and is fully equipped with all modern facilities.

Flookburgh is a small coastal village not far from Cartmel, home to Cartmel Priory, the racecourse and the Village Shop famous for its Sticky Toffee Pudding. Flookburgh has two pubs, a village shop, chemist, excellent butchers shop, post office, fish and chip shop and church. Windermere/Coniston is about 25 minutes by car.

Dining A fully fitted kitchen is provided on the ground floor and there are two pubs serving food in Flookburgh itself, with further pubs serving good food within ten minutes walking distance at the adjacent village of Cark-in-Cartmel.

There is a cloakroom/utility area also on the ground floor where there is a washer/dryer and freezer.

Lounge: The comfortable lounge on the second floor has the original "porthole" type window with views over Humphrey Head and Cartmel Fell. There is colour digital TV with DVD player. A selection of DVDs, books and games are provided.

Bathroom: Is on the same floor as the lounge with bath and power shower. There is a downstairs cloakroom on the ground floor also.

Sleeping accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, one with a king size double bed and the other with twin beds. All bed linen/towels are provided.
