Sunset Cottage is a fully restored spacious 2 bedroom character 17th century cottage with a large enclosed garden. It has many original features including an inglenook fireplace, oak beams and the original flagstone kitchen floor. Set in an elevated position in a beautiful rural setting, adjacent to Kirkby Moor and overlooking the village of Kirkby-in-Furness. There are panoramic views over the Duddon Estuary and the mountains beyond.

Garden: There is a large enclosed south-facing garden and patio furniture is provided for you to enjoy the sunshine.

Accommodation: Sleeping accommodation comprises of two bedrooms, one double bedroom with king size bed and one twin bedroom. There is an additional twin bedroom available by arrangement to sleep a further 2 people, additional charge applies – please ring or email for details. There is a sitting room with a wood burning stove (logs supplied), digital colour TV and DVD. Guests have use of a south facing private lawned garden c/w garden furniture. The cottage is non-smoking; pets are welcome for an additional charge of £20 each. 

Dining A fully fitted oak kitchen is provided which is fully equipped with integrated dishwasher, fridge/freezer and washer/dryer. There are two pubs in the village serving food. A whole range of excellent pubs, restaurants, cafés and tea rooms are available in the region to suit all pockets and tastes.
