Tarnside Family Holiday Park is open to caravaners and campers and is located close to the Cumbrian coast at St Bees, and enjoys a delightful and very convenient location adjacent to the nearby beach.
Enjoy a relaxing break in a truly unique location. A stones throw from the West Cumbrian Coast, with it's very own fresh water tarn, on the edge of the Lake District National Park. Guests will find that the beautiful location is matched by a relaxed atmosphere and excellent facilities. Campers and holidaymakers on the Park will cherish the peace and quiet and spectacular surrounding scenery. On the western fringe of the Lake District, in the small Village of Braystones, Tarnside is perfectly situated for tourists to enjoy a peaceful holiday away from it all. Beachcombing on the west coast, fishing in the tarn or exploring the Western Lakes & Fells - guests are sure to enjoy a holiday with us.
Park Features and Facilities: Tarnside has a fully licenced Caravan Club with bar, pool table and Sky TV. Light bar meals and snacks are readily available and children are welcome in the club with parents. There is a small outdoor play area adjoining the club. Tarnside Park has a well-equipped wash and laundry facility including hot showers, basins, hair dryers and baby-changing facilities, as well as an automatic washing machine, tumble dryer and ironing facilities. The shower block has been recently refurbished and caters for disabled users. Dogs are welcome on the Park, but must be kept on a lead and under control at all times.
