Details for The Boot Inn Eskdale

The Boot Inn is a traditional Lakeland Inn which dates back to 1578, with a licensed bar complete with log fire, a light and airy conservatory and separate dining room. You are guaranteed a warm friendly welcome by Francis, Lesley and the staff to ensure you enjoy your stay. Guests are welcome to explore our beautiful gardens with a children’s play area and views of the fells. Also available for guests use are a selection of traditional games, a plasma screen TV and a pool table.

The nine bedrooms all have en-suite bathroom facilities, are comfortably furnished and have tea and coffee making facilities. There are twin rooms, double rooms, two family rooms and a single room - all have lovely views.

Dining: At The Boot Inn we specialise in traditional and hearty home cooking and baking. Guests can choose from a comprehensive menu and a daily specials board in our 16th century beamed restaurant, by the open fire in bar area or in the conservatory. All our food is home made using local produce wherever possible, including Eskdale Lamb, free range eggs from the Penny Hill Hens, Bewley's beef and Cumberland sausages, local cheeses and not forgetting our own home grown fruits, salads and herbs. We also offer a selection of real ales, a comprehensive wine list and a selection of malt whiskies.
