The 17th Century Coaching Inn has been a place of great comfort to visitors for over 400 years, and latterly the business mix has been one of Corporate and Leisure. With great Corporate facilities and a comfortable and relaxing ambience, the Bower has proved to be a great all-rounder for weddings, events and Accommodation.We also have our own helipad.

There are thae distinctly different types of hotel accommodation to choose from at the Bower House Inn. You can stay in the main Coaching Inn building, a warren of rooms running off 17th Century corridors framed in oak timber. The adjacent converted Barn Building with its modern bedrooms and conference facilities perfect for today’s business traveller. Or the Garden Rooms, hidden away to the side of the hotel, they offer a little more privacy and seclusion for the more seasoned traveller.

The Hotel is fully registered to provide your wedding service and reception. The Barn Room will cater for up to 75 persons. It has its own catering facilities and dance floor and we can supply music to suit any occasion and your particular taste. For larger parties of up to 140 guests, a traditional marquee can be arranged in the gardens.
