Details for The Hayloft

The Hayloft is a luxury holiday cottage, lovingly converted by the owners from a centuries old limestone threshing barn.

Full of character, it stylishly combines beams, slate and oak with beautiful soft furnishings, giving it a homely feel, much commented on by guests.

The Hayloft sleeps 7 plus 2 in a sofa bed (also features a four poster) and offers lots of space for families including an upstairs galleried lounge, oak conservatory, handcrafted open kitchen, bathroom and shower room.

Outside there is a fully enclosed garden and pets are welcome. There is a lawned area, patio, and parking for 2 cars and a stone-built stable converted into games and laundry rooms.

The cottage is very well equipped and all rates include bed linen, towels, utilities and pets. A welcome pack is provided to help guests settle straight away.

The Pheasant Inn is within a minute's walk and welcomes pets and serves food. The Cumbrian Coastal Way passes close by the door and views of Humphrey Head and Morecambe Bay can be enjoyed from the window seats in the upstairs lounge.
