Windermere is the central location for touring The Lake District and The Howbeck is ideally situated an easy two minute stroll from the main village with its excellent selection of shops and fine restaurants & bistros. There are lots of good walks right on the doorstep, an easy walk brings you to the town of Bowness, home of the World of Beatrix Potter attraction and lots of wonderful shops and restaurants.

Accommodation: The Howbeck has ten elegant bedrooms ranging from the Standard, Superior to the Luxury. All well appointed and spacious with fully co-ordinated soft furnishings, ensuite bathrooms, crisp white linen and snug quilts adorn all beds. Both superior and luxury rooms have a DVD player.
