Details: Formerly the old cinema, now a beautifully furnished luxury self catering apartment sleeping upto 8 in Kirkby Lonsdale.

Kirkby Lonsdale is a historic market town in Cumbria, on the River Lune. It is situated thirteen miles south-east from Kendal along the A65. The town is a great tourist attraction, famous for Devil's Bridge and Ruskin's View. The shops in Kirkby Lonsdale blend well with the architectural heritage. Many shop fronts are Listed, protecting their individuality and charm. The range of shops and the variety of merchandise available is very comprehensive and impressive. The town itself is perfectly located for both the Lakes and the Dales, and with 2 golf courses within a short drive there is plenty to occupy your time.

Accommodation: The apartment comprises of an entrance hall which leads into a further hall area with storage space for coats and walking boots. A washer/dryer is hidden away here, under the stairs.

The large lounge area has high ceilings and full length sash windows along with two sofas (1 a sofabed), a television, DVD and CD player.

The kitchen / dining area again has 3 full length sash windows. The combined area allows all guests to cook and dine together. The brand new kitchen has oven,hob, microwave, fridge freezer, and dishwasher.

The dining area has seating for 8 people and a large sofa that converts into a sofa bed for extra guests. A family bathroom with modern fittings, bath and shower completes the first floor.

A curved staircase leads up to the bedrooms .The Master bedroom has a kingsize bed and small single bed that could be used by small adult / child. It has an ensuite bathroom with modern shower, WC and sink .The second bedroom has a 2 single beds. Both bedrooms have velux windows with dramatic views over the hills. The apartment sleeps up to eight, (additional sleeping for four on sofa beds in the dining room and living area)

Notes: Full electric central heating. All bed linen is provided but guests must bring their own towels. Travel cot, high chair and a selection of toys and books available. Please note this is a no smoking property. Dogs and lighting of candles are not permitted. Sorry, no stag or hen parties.
