Thornbarrow Cottage is set in a traditional Lakeland house, located between Windermere and Bowness. Sleeps up to 6 people and is ideal for a superb family holiday and exploring this wonderful area, with walking and cycling from the doorstep.
Windermere and Bowness form an ideal centre for a lakeland holiday. Bowness bay is 10 minutes walk from Thornbarrow cottage and there you can hire a boat or travel the length of the lake on one of the original lake steamers.All grades of walking are within easy reach and plenty of local attractions.
Outside a small garden and seating area to the front. The Cottage facilities include microwave, fridge /freezer TV, DVD, seperate shower room, bathroom, lounge & Kitchen diner.There is plenty of unrestricted parking just outside the cottage.From the !st of Nov 2011 we also offer free membership of the Leisure facilities at Parklands Country club at the Burnside Hotel in Bowness to use as much as you want during your stay.
