Tithe Barn is a mid-terraced, barn conversion cottage in the small village of Gleaston, just one mile from the coast and five miles from Ulverston in Cumbria and offers excellent self-catering accommodation for up-to eight people in four bedrooms.
Accommodation: The cottage has two double bedrooms and two twin rooms as well as two family bathrooms, making it suitable for eight people. The cottage also contains a kitchen with a woodburner, a dining area and a sitting room with an open fire. Outside the cottage is a rear patio with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Set between the Furness coastline and the Lake District National Park, Tithe Barn offers guests a wide range of activities for their holiday.
LPG central heating throughout, additional heating from open fire in sitting room and woodburner in kitchen/dining area. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, TV, DVD, CD/radio. Fuel, power and starter pack for woodburner/open fire inc. in rent, additional fuel available on honesty box basis. Bed linen inc. in rent. Cot and highchair available. Roadside parking for two cars by the cottage. Rear patio area with furniture and BBQ. Two well-behaved pets welcome. Sorry, no smoking. Shop 2 miles, pubs 1 mile.
Location: Gleaston is a village five miles from Ulverston. Ulverston boasts a street market every Thursday and Saturday and many festivals throughout the year, including a Dickensian weekend in early December. With all the attractions of the Lake District National Park and the sandy beaches close by, this quiet and peaceful area has plenty to offer!
