Troutbeck Retreat is furnished to a high standard, with everything you will need to help make your stay as comfortable as possible. Beautifully appointed throughout, it is a cosy and delightful place to stay for any occasion. The open plan lounge fitted with an electric fire, in addition to thermostat controlled gas fired central heating throughout, guarantees your comfort whatever the time of year and weather outside. There is a 3 seat leather sofa, 2 lounge chairs, TV, DVD, I-pod docking station and stereo to provide a perfect environment for comfortable evenings in after a tiring day. The dining area has a 4 seat dining table and 2 stools are provided for those who prefer to eat at the breakfast bar.

There is an extensive selection of board games to entertain all ages.DVDs can also be hired from reception. The double patio doors lead onto the decking which overlooks the spectacular fell of Wansfell. Garden furniture, sun loungers/chairs are provided on the extensive decking area to enable you to eat all meals outdoors if you wish and to provide a large area for relaxation after a busy day out on the fells, a day exploring the Lake District National Park, or indeed a day utilising the recreational facilities nearby.

Accommodation - This modern luxury lodge is very well equipped throughout. The kitchen boasts an electric oven, 5 ring gas hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher, washer/dryer and even a radio built in to the ceiling to break you in gently to the new day.

The master bedroom provides ‘king size’ sleeping accommodation, built in wardrobes and drawer space, dressing table, dressing area, ceiling built in radio and en suite with spacious shower unit, wc and contemporary sink unit. The ample sized second bedroom provides twin beds, built in wardrobes and drawer space and the main bathroom has a full size bath, excellent overhead shower, wc and contemporary sink unit. Hot water is available on demand.

Duvets, pillows, towels and bed linen are all provided at no extra cost making your holiday as easy and as comfortable as possible. No all male, all female or mixed groups under 25 years of age.

Pet Friendly: Well behaved pets are welcome (2 dogs maximum at £10 each per stay). There is a specially designated 'dog field' at Limefitt where they can run around freely. If your doggy loves water, the river pool is a great spot to swim and throw sticks for a game of fetch.

Rental price is fully inclusive of all gas and electricity, bedding, linen and towels. Only extra is if you take your dog.
