Willow Barn is a superb stone built, semi-detached barn conversion cottage in the centre of the fishing village of Flookburgh, just two miles from Cartmel in the Lake District, Cumbria and can sleep six people in three bedrooms.
Accommodation: The cottage has two double bedrooms (one with an ensuite) and one single room with a pull out bed which makes it suitable for up to six people. The cottage also contains a family bathroom, a fitted kitchen, a dining area and a sitting room. Outside the cottage is off road parking for one car and a garden with outdoor furniture and a barbecue. Ideal for exploring the coast, yet just a short drive to the centre of the Lake District National Park, Willow Barn is a fabulous cottage no matter what you desire from your holiday.
Gas fired underfloor heating on ground & 1st floors, radiators on 2nd floor. Electric oven, gas hob, microwave, fridge, freezer, washer/dryer, dishwasher, TV, DVD, CD/radio, books/DVDs. Fuel & power inc. in rent. Bed linen & towels inc. in rent. Cot & highchair on request. Off road parking for 1 car, good additional roadside parking nearby (50 metres). Small front & rear gardens with garden furniture & BBQ. Sorry, no smoking & no pets. Pub & shops 5 mins walk. Note: This cottage sleeps a maximum of 5 adults.
Location: The village of Flookburgh is set on the shores of Morecambe Bay on the outskirts of the Lake District. Named after the Fluke fish, it provides a haven for cockle and shrimp fishers together with a choice of welcoming pubs. The Cumbria Coastal Path runs close by, presenting superb walking and nature watching opportunities.
