Details: Welcome to our non-smoking boutique hotel located in Windermere and just a short walk from Bowness and Lake Windermere itself. 15 comfortable en-suite bedrooms with the focus on style and comfort, fresh local produce for our breakfasts and leisure facilities available during your stay.

At Woodlands, we have always had a policy of making everyone feel welcome, all ages and nationalities. We also listen to our guests and constantly look at ways of improving our service and introducing new ways of keeping our guests happy. We've recently upgraded our bar to offer a range of freshly ground Italian Coffees, and we now offer an extensive range of wines, some of which are from Organic producers, together with a fine selection of Champagnes.

Please do pick up the phone and speak to us in person, we are more than happy to help plan your trip, beyond booking a hotel room. We have excellent knowledge of the region and really want you to enjoy your stay in the Lake District.

Accommodation: The 15 delightful guest rooms, include a choice of single, double, three bedded, and twin rooms, with two of the rooms located on the ground floor. Our triple bedded room also has its own access to the private garden at the back of the hotel.

All rooms are well equipped with 19" flat screen colour television, radio alarm clocks, hairdryer and complimentary tea/coffee making facilities. Two of the rooms have 4-poster beds, perfect for a romantic getaway.

Dining: Full English breakfast and a continental selection, using wherever possible fresh local produce, is served every day in our guests dining room.

There are many places to eat in Bowness and Windermere. We will be happy to recommend restaurants for lunch and evening meals in the Lakes to make your stay in the Lake District as memorable as possible.

Leisure Facilities: Parklands Country Club is available nearby for your use throughout your visit. The club incorporates a swimming pool with children's area, Jacuzzi, sauna, steam room and jet showers. Badminton, squash and a well equipped Gymnasium, a comprehensive Club lounge and bar, two full-size snooker tables, solarium and viewing galleries overlooking the squash courts and swimming pool is also available. For those wishing to pamper themselves Parklands has a beauty salon specialising in massage and a wide range of wellness and beauty treatments.
