Family Fun
The Lake District provides family fun of all description, and the opportunities are endless, dependant on what a particular family enjoys doing. The simplest form of family fun is walking through the countryside. More active families can engage in a range of outdoor activities, from paint balling to go-karting, archery to horse-riding, there's plenty on offer here. There are cottages in every part of Cumbria that offer family accommodation, many with indoor family and games rooms. There are also a wide variety of indoor activities to choose from. Aquariums, animal centres and soft play centres can all be found in the region.
