Team Building
Team building activities are recognised as a vital way to encourage staff co-operation and bonding. The Lake District offers a whole host of sports, pursuits and challenges that are designed for team building. Many organisations offer weekends that can be tailored to suit specific groups. With a vast amount of land to use and plenty of different environments to explore, one of the more popular team building exercises involves challenging the group to overcome some natural or man made obstacle. This could include building a bridge from logs to cross a river or even constructing a raft that the whole team must travel on. These activities are a lot of fun for the participants as well as encouraging team development.
