Entertainment is not hard to come across in the Lake District. As farming and the rural way of life is still very much present in the region, farming and agriculture shows are very popular, regularly attracting thousands of visitors. There are a vast number of local festivals to choose from. From beer, to fishing or jazz music, it seems that every recreational activity has its own festival in this region. Theatres are also very popular in the area One of the most popular is the Theatre by the Lake at Keswick which has performances all year round in an idyllic, lakeside location.
