Ambleside
Ambleside is a picturesque and bustling historic town in the south of the Lake District, just a mile from Lake Windermere. Borne out of what was once an industrial town Amblesides wonderful atmosphere and scenery now attracts visitors from all over the world. Remnants of the industrial era still remain, visible in the traditional stone buildings with their slate roofs.
