Cartmel jeweller is inspired by the Lake Districts beauty!

Breathtaking local scenery and abundant natural wildlife is proving to be the making of local jeweller Linzi Alford. Her stunning and unique designs are created at her studio in Low Newton from photographs she has taken whilst out and about in the countryside.

Delicate insects and the ever changing flora and fauna of the beautiful Lake District are the subject of Linzi's designs. As she constantly observes the rich and ever changing tapestry of the countryside, she recreates her images into fine pieces using precious metals, enamel and colourful stones.

What began as a hobby for Linzi, has now blossomed into a successful business which includes a retail shop, a design studio and a brand new book which she has recently had published. For other budding artists she will be offering jewellery crafting workshops from her premises in Low Newton and her book which is packed with delightful photographs from which to pick up ideas for pieces. With a variety of crafting supplies and a range of her own gifts to choose from the future is set to sparkle for this inspiring local artist!
