It's Panto time in the Lake District - Oh Yes It Is!!

After the festivities die down and the excitement of the Christmas season begins to wain there is always the pantomime season to look forward to. With a great selection of local productions to choose from there is bound to be something for everyone to enjoy through to the New Year!

Here is just a taster of the Lake District panto scene to enjoy with all the family:

Hansel and Gretel  at the Brewery Arts Centre, Highgate, Kenda,l LA9 4HE. 21st Dec 2013 to 29th Dec 2013. Adapting the classic fairytale Hansel and Gretel with a mix of brilliantly fun live music, clowning, humour, language and storytelling, this is a wonderful Christmas show for all the family.

Jack and the Beanstalk  at the The Lakes School, Troutbeck Bridge, Windermere, Cumbria LA23 1HW. 21st Jan 2014 to 26th Jan 2014. A wonderful adaptation of jack and the beanstalk amazing effects and fun for all the family tickets available online.

Victoria Hall, Grange-over-Sands - December 8 - 10 - Grange Youth Theatre performs Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. Box office - 015395 32375 25) Bryce Institute, Burneside - January 6-8 and 11-14 - Burneside Amateur Theatrical Society stage a comic blast of Puss in Space Boots.

Theatre on the Bay , Storth - January 11-14 - Storth Entertainers' Christmas pantomime will be Sing a Song of Sixpence by Norman Robbins.

Lakes School, Troutbeck - January 24 - 29 - Lakes Players' glittering panto extravanganza Cinderella.
