Lowther Castle Halloween fright night

Nothing scares you then? Well come and test your metal at Lowther Castle and Gardens on either the 30th or 31st of October. The castle is in Penrith Cumbia and the event of your life time will take place between 5 and 9pm, don't want to spook you too much, you might not stand the pace.

If you do come into the Kingdom of Doom be prepared to by met by Trolls and Goblins amongst other creatures of the night which will descend/ascend/crawl amongst you as you make your way through the garden. Hunt the ghosts with a Nerf Gun, amazing fun. Get up close to one of nature's great birds of prey, experts are at hand to answer all questions and make sure all that enter are all that leave.

The evening is filled with many types of entertainment and you will be entertained from 5.30 onwards with many many acts such as The Wicked Witch Performance's, parts One and Two performed at 5.30pm and 7pm, there are two fancy dress competitions throughout the evening with the café and the shop staying open till the end to keep your nerves in tact with a great cup of tea amongst other treats.

Spells will be cast, frightening feats will be performed we are told, put yourself into the hands of the "Unworldly Creatures" and be transformed into a witch or a wizard or something equally as scary.

It's a fabulous way to spend Halloween, the lighting effects on the castle walls and in the grounds are very effective. Trick or treating has nothing on this night of strange happenings.

Tickets can be bought on line and in advance but they can also be bought on the evening at the Gate. So when you have been for the experience will you still say you don't believe in ghosts?
