Quince and Medlar Restaurant, Cockermouth offers fine vegetarian dining, creative food, organic wines & interesting fruit drinks, all served in a wood panelled, candelit, non-smoking dining room.

Owners Colin and Louisa trained with the late Francis Coulson and Brian Sack at Sharrow Bay Hotel, Ullswater, before moving to Quince & Medlar in 1989.

The restaurant is featured in the Which Good Food Guide, Hardens, Hunter Davies Good Guide to the Lakes, AA Food Guide, Country Living Rural Guide and Vegetarian Britain.

The extensive menu changes bi-monthly and uses only the best seasonal ingredients available.
